I just did a rebuild this winter with a wiseco 10:1, stage 1 cam, sparks timing advance. My jetting is 42 and 155. When I'm just putting around the yard its fine but when I nail it down the street it bogs out. It didn't do this be for the rebuild. Could some one help me out with this one?

is it bogging or cutting out?

Jetting more than likely, have you checked your plug?

I guess I would go with cutting out...It won't die on me. Its just when you really lay into it.

Maybe I will try out a new plug. I pulled it out and just cleaned it off and just re-gapped it but that didn't help.

are you running a k&n filter with outer wear?

I have a K&N but no outer cover. Stock air box with holes cut in the top.

try taking the cover off. the reason i am asking and saying this is because i just spent alot of money try to fix the same problem. when i was talking to curtis sparks tech support they thought it sounded like my stator or jetting. ended up being a dirty outerwear. and it was causing me to be way rich due to it not getting any air. so make sure your filter is clean and pull that lid and ride it and see if it clears up. might not be the same cause of the problem but its the easiest to check
