I'll be getting a yfz shortly, and I was wondering about a few things.
I'm switching from a TRX450r with SS valves, and I will probably put some in the YFZ when the time comes. However, the YFZ, I noticed, is sporting an aluminum-supported camshaft end. Has anyone ever heard of galling happening as a result of the increased spring pressures required for SS valves? (Note that cases of cam supports being over-torqued are NOT of interest to me.)
Also, will new valve seats be required? Assuming mine aren't trash, is the stock seat material suitable for SS valves?
thanks. Peace out.
