Just a reminder to anyone that is on the fence about getting one of these braces or waiting for a cheaper alternative.
DO NOT WAIT...
Round 2 ATVA in KY should be proof enough...
A FL rider (Jordan Gibson) crashed his mini and broke his leg and wrist, along with his Leatt brace.
EMT on site said that he would have broke his neck if his brace wasn't on.
Jordan will make a full recovery, but we should all take a close look at a situation like this and make sure to not wait til next time.
Let's all keep Jordan in our thoughts and help him with a quick and full recovery.

WOW, I hope he is ok or at least going to be ok.
This is the one thing i have not bought yet, was waiting for another brand to come out.
Gary, are you a stocking dealer for them or should i call Leatt directly. I am looking to get the Club version for my son.
Thanks, Corey

Amen Gary,
After I seen Zachary's crashes and with him not complaining about neck injuries I am confident the Leatt is a great product.
Get better Jordan.

We bought a Leatt Brace about six months ago and I feel confident it has been a life saver for our daughter. I feel so much more at ease with her wearing it. We've told her it is not an option -- if she is on her bike, she must be wearing it. We are so glad Jordan was wearing it and hope everything heals completely so we can get a chance to see him race!

yes i agree with gary a lot of us parents spend a lot of money making our kids quads faster but sometimes forget about safety. i was also waiting for a cheaper brace but at a race in reddick,fl my son told me that gary had a few braces and i started to wait but i didnt . i got one from gary and was glad i did. in the second moto he had a wreck were he fliped off the quad and landed on the back of his neck and head and i feel that it realy could have hurt him if not for the leatt brace. thanks gary. by the way it was on a loaner quad form cheater motorsports.
i hope jordan gibson is going to be ok. he will be in our prayers for a full recovery. he's an awesome rider.

does it just sort of rest on your shoulders and neckline or does it attach to the chest protector somehow? I have been wondering this for awhile, as I plan on getting one.

the brace sits on the soulders it will slide onto the chest prot. you dont know its there. there are staps to hold it around the chest.

My daughter is wearing the leatt brace with the body armor and it has a place to slide right into the back of it. If she is wearing it with the body armor, are the straps necessary?? Just want to be sure she's getting the utmost protection and using it properly. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hey Gary!! Do you have one of the these to fit Brandon? I would probally say he would be the same size as Dillon. BTW what do they costs and could you possibly ship it to me. Chuck.....

Jordan would like to thank everybody for their well wishes. He is doing GREAT and already planning his comeback in the next Tennessee National race. Obviously we also highly recommend the Leatt Neck Brace.
We also appreciate all of the nice comments and concerns.

Jordan
We want to wish you a speedy recovery and are going to miss you at the races but we know you will back very soon can't keep a good racer down for long.
Ken and Rhonda
I know as parents how you must have felt. Our prayers are with yall for a speedy recovery and we will be seeing you on the Blvd. very soon
After seeing Jordan's Leatt I am so grateful that we have one for Christian. I believed in them before but now I am a firm believer. When you see what they really can do for you in a crash it is an eye opener. What happened to Jordan was bad enough but without the Leatt it could have been a whole lot worse.
To All Parents
If you don't have a Leatt for your child please spend the money and buy one they are worth every penny you spend on them because there is no amount to large to help protect our babies. We spend the money to make the bikes faster lets spend the money to make the kids safer.:)

The straps aren't necessary with the Leatt body armor. Like you said it slides right in. Jordan does wear the straps but he has a regular Fox chest protector that you have to slide the spinal section of the Leatt under and we use the straps for extra security. Funny thing is right before that wreck my husband was going to take the straps off and I wouldn't let him. It's probably a good thing that they were left on!

Thanks for the information. I remember unpacking the brace and wondering what the straps were for and my husband said, we don't need those.... and then I read on here how they work and thought... uh oh--- do we need it?
Must be a Mom's sixth sense.... I have those all the time!! Don't second guess it!!
Hope Jordan is feeling better and getting all the attention he deserves. He looked mighty comfy on that couch!! I keep hearing his theme song, Qwad up coming from Daemarie's room - so she's keeping an eye on him too!! We had a good laugh that he has the air horn on the table next to him in case someone forgets he is there.... :)

Here is the Leatt update:
The new Leatt Adventure Brace will be available mid- summer! The Adventure will be slightly less adjustable than the Club and Sport models. Around $200 Retail with similar protection than the current models.
It should be 4-5 months before they are released......Thats a lot time to wait IMO
I bought my first Leatt from another retailer for $400...
I saw my son get hit from behind and get flipped backwards 360 degrees in the air...the next day I started searching for something better than a neck roll and found the Leatt brace...Had one in my hands that week....Took about 100 phone calls to find one, but I didn't give up
Don't be one of the parents that say "I should have, when its too late"
My posts here are not to generate Leatt sales there are plenty of sources to find them besides myself
