Ams is good, keeps it well lubricated but my old Warrior burnt it on start up sometimes. So if you keep it checked it'll be alright

I use the Amsoil 0W-40 in my 680 Rincon.

Amsoil is all I use in everything for many years. Use it in my 2008 GMC and in my CTS.

You could try this. I know its very popular with snowmobilers around here, friend has a snowmobile/atv rental place and makes all his renters use it (he provides). Since starting to use it 3 yrs back, no problems. Before that with an oem oil brand, every winter a engine or 2 would break down and be out of service.

50:1 mix for carb engines.

Better yet, here is a chart from their web site

Ask yourself this. How many refineries are there and how many are owned by Honda, Polaris, Ski-Doo, Arctic Cat or Yamaha?

In a nutshell, it all basically comes from the same place, same bottle, different color, different propaganda.

Not many people will put OEM oil in their cars, but when it comes to power sports, everybody goes for the OEM oils because they perceive them to be superior. But OEM lubes often are equal to the performance quality of the cheapest aftermarket oils on store shelves.
