Hopefully going to get a set of 9" hiper single beadlock rear wheels. Have noticed that the CF1 has the studs for the wheel going through the carbon fiber itself and the Teck 3 has a billet flange in the middle that the studs go through. Has anyone had problems with the CF1's as they are cheaper?

The Tech3 is Hiper's traditional partial carbon fiber wheel. This wheel uese carbon fiber with an aluminum center for bolting to the hubs. It is the more expensive of the two versions but is also much stronger.

The CF1 is an all carbon fiber wheel so weighs slightly less but is also not as strong. The CF1 is not intended for racing or jumping as indicated on the Hiper website but would be great for trail riding or duning.

I agree with 04TRX400EX, except I probably wouldn't even trail ride w/ the CF1's. Dune riding would be the extent of what I would personally do w/ the CF1's. Tech 3's would be the safer bet.
