What are you cross country guys running for tire pressure, for mx I run around 6 to 8 in the rear and about 10 in the front, is it about the same for 20, 22 inch xc tires or is there some magical numbers that I should know about. Thanks

Low pressure is good, I used to run 5 front and 4 rear before tireballs, now they are set at 5

i depends what kind of terrain i am riding.

if i need traction then i go with slightly less pressure...4-3 lbs, but if i am riding where i need puncture resistance, i run 5-6 lbs...and i run equal pressure in all four tires...i like the feel over running more pressure in the fronts than the back

Holy $#i+, if your talkin about your lug nuts then I would hate to do a trailside tire change on your quad, I just spin mine on with a t-handle.

for clay or really hard packed I run about 7PSI in the rear and for the sand I run about 5PSI in the rear. As for the fronts I run 5-6PSI most of the time. The reason I run more PSI in the harder packed clay stuff is because I grip too much and it will want to rail and flip every slight turn and it wont slide. The extra 2PSI makes it easier to slide yet still get traction. As for muddy stuff I havent experimented with much. In the mud I ran 4PSI or so. If I had beadlocks or Razr Rears I would feel more comfortable running lower than 5PSI because the sidewall is stiffer and doesnt have the tire roll stock tires have and beadlocks will keep your wheel on no matter what PSI you run.
