Well, lets see what you have.

I really dont want to spend more than 1500-1750 on a front end and an axle w/ shock.

Im willing to buy used (Not right now...its going to be about 10 weeks before I can do anything....)

The stock settup on my 440, is not cutting it.

I need to move up to bigger and better things:devil:

try 450r revalved shocks and a set of aftermarket a-arms!

yeah see if you can get a set of 450 shocks in the for sale section, or on ebay, and get em revalved or buy them already revalved, then buy some new a arms, and i know people arent too fond of wheel spacers, but on the rear axle its okay because its only extending your axle, if they are on the front it screws with your handling. its a decent setup and not too expensive

You can get a decent set of +2 arms less than $500. A set of 450 shocks revalved should also be under $500. Then you can get a rpm dominator axle for less than $400 so all that is well within your price range. Go ahead and get the rpm, you will never have a problem with it.

If you can find a arms for 500 or less and an axle for 400 or less you could go LT. Ive been looking into it and for an extreme budget the base model Elka LT shocks are 695 a pair. They have no rezzies but are ride height adjustable. I think there also comp/reb adjustable. and can be upgraded in the future. I know that elka isnt the greatest but for a budget thats tight and something better than stock Elka LT shocks have got to be better. I might even be doing this to my 400ex as well. After riding my 450R with Fox float LT shocks im ruined. Its 1000% better than a stock setup. you dont feel even the hardest bumps or jumps. Its awesome.

I've got less than 1500 in my suspension setup: New Houser A-Arm, New Elka's, C&D Revalved Rear and G-Force Axle. I bought the swingarm used, including the swinger, I've got about 1750 in my suspension. It's leaps and bounds better than stock.

Why do you say elka's "arnt the best"? That would mean they arnt very good. Im not saying they are the best you can buy because I havnt tried every shock out there but elka makes a very good shock. Oh and also, the ones with no rezervoirs arnt compression or rebound adjustable, just ride height.

Go ahead and post them, but its going to be about 10 weeks before I can do anything.

Once I get a job this summer, then I'll be able to get some stuff.

I already have 450r takeoffs, but they arent revalved.

Id love to go with a LT settup, but we'll have to see.

I'll be scouring EBAY when it comes time.:D
