I just got a new trailer to haul my toy around. Pretty darn cool trailer, 4x8, with a tilt deck, 1740 lbs capacity. The unit included everything but the decking. It even came with all the lighting and wiring. I'm thinking not bad for $300.

I have to finish the wiring tomorrow and then get some decking for it.

Don't get me wrong its cheap Taiwanese junk, but I needed trailer to haul the quad behind my truck when I slide my camper into the bed. Actually, I'm sort of impressed with some of the things on the trailer. It has grease fittings on the back side of the hubs, they give you a tongue that fits a 2" ball, not 1 7/8", and where the leaf springs bolt to the trailer is seriously reinforced.

I could use my Car trailer, but talk about overkill! My car trailer has an 18ft deck, which tilts hydraulically, tandem axle, etc. I didn't want to put one quad on there and tow that damn thing! :D

Having a larger trailer can be nice. If I go riding with my brother, his wife, and kid, then we take his crew cab and my trailer, I can easily fit 3 x 400EX's and a Suzuki 50 on the trailer, and it saves on fuel. I just wanted a small trailer that I could throw on the back of the truck and go. Thank god for Harbor Freight!

seen some pretty cool "wheel-less" trailers

unusally 500 lb limit but its pretty much just a shelf that slips into the reciever hitch

if you put a slide in camper in your truck it would be like a back porch lol

It's a small camper, so it actually stops at the end of the bed, so I can leave the tailgate down which creates my back porch. I even have Walmart special Tiki torches that I put on the ends so I can drink beer in style :-)

I haven't finished assembly yet, but as soon as I take it on it's maiden voyage I'll let you know. It lists at $400, but it was on sale for $300. If the weather stays nice I should finish assembly tomorrow.
