Ok, so i got from my bf for my birthday a full HMF Bill Ballance Pro Series System and need to jet it but can not find on any forums what the recommended jetting specs are for my 05' 450r. I have a k & n filter with a pro design adapter. Everything else is stock. Anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! :D

If you have a open air box u should start out with a 185 main jet, HRC needle and a 50 pilot jet these numbers work with the stock carb. (Keihin) parts if you use one of those crappy aftermarket brand like Dyna jet or w/e they will be different

Heres Keihin Main jets Click Here!! (http://www.magicracing.com/Keihin-Hex-Main-Jets_p_717-59.html)
Here the pilot jets ClIcK HeRe!! (http://www.magicracing.com/Keihin-Short-Pilot-Jets_p_717-1392.html)

i thought the stock jetting was a 118 main and 48 pilot...? My jetting comes this week but i've jetted abunch before and the right jetting is always one bigger on the main and pilot...

Right now, I have a K&N filter with an Outerwears, and other than that, the quad is stock mechanically. They sent a 180 jet with the Ballance full system and no pilot jet. Can I run the lid on with the 180 jet?

the 180 would be ok without the lid. just keep an eye on the plug or do some plug chops. if you leave the lid on with a 180 ....it will imo be too rich and be very sluggish.with an outerwears you are totally safe with the lid off. taking the lid off is a greater gain than the pipe. my bike has a stock motor on it,i removed the baffle and opened the lid.....HUGE GAIN. then i put on the ballance slip-on ....a little gain. that pipe sounds mean from behind!!!!!next step is the crf cam and 11.5 piston :D

well I have a hmf full exhaust and a esr air box eliminator kit and I run a 185 main jet. the pilot jet is stock. from my expierence I don't think it's necessary to replace the pilot jet. every engine is different. thats just my opinon. hope it helps!

I thought the pipe being blue meant it was running lean. Sorry i'm new at this.... :p
