2008 GNCC Round #4 "Big Buck" Live ATV Race Coverage

The "Big Buck" is alive and kicking as friday afternoon settled in on the race. The temperatures were holding steady in th eupper 80's and the humidity ....well ....whoever ordered it can come get it!

The big buzz around the pits has to deal with the UTV race slated for saturday evening. There is some serious fire-power waiting to be unleashed!

LTE Racing's Brent Sturdivant checks out the latest issue of ATVInsider. Brent is having a tough year aboard the new Can Am, but hasn't yet to get back up front in 2008


I told him there was a scratch and sniff section in this issue, i am not sure if he figured it out yet:devil:

The rider with the momentum heading into this round is Adam McGill. Talking with him showed me that he has indeed reached a point where it will take some doing to bring him down a notch or two.

Bryan Cook was busily putting the final touches on his machine

Brandon Sommers decided he wasn't washing his quad until he scored a XC1 win!:p

Registration was still time consuming, however it did appear to be moving faster

The scary part is they knew who I was:p

Thats all for now, hopefully we get spared the rain that is impacting the ATVA MX race at Ballance MX and that everyone in that area remains safe as the storms have been severe.

Tomorrow is a new day, and you can bet the racing is going to be hot!!!

that storm is moving fast last night it went thru NW mo and we had about 70 mph strait line winds and one tornado the winds alone bent over tons of street signs along the hi ways....good luck to all! Lets go McGill!!!!!

The ground is taking the water, and while the youth race looks to be wet, the morning race should be better if it stops or doesnt rain (boy thats wishfull thinking!)

Also have girlfriend Emily calling with updates but from her track meet her signal is patchy. I'm trying to get the results as they come through. Momma Fowler from the race says the top 7 are very tight. Meanwhile, I am playing ballerina princess with my 5 yr old niece and getting my nails done by her in the Sparkle Glitter Nail Salon. Keeps me from biting them I guess. ;0)

2nd lap, Sommers came to the pits 1st, cook passed him while pitting....then from there it was a free for all....theres a whole group together and Ockerman is up there with them.

From what I am getting via phone calls, yes that is the case. Thank you and yes, he is an awesome rider. He is very focused and committed and this is his Passion with a capitol P. Like I said before, we have seen him get the hole shot twice, and win twice, once without Borich and Ballance in the mix. But we have been anxious to see how this scenerio would play out. It really tells the tale doesn't it?

Like I said before, we have seen him get the hole shot twice, and win twice, once without Borich and Ballance in the mix. But we have been anxious to see how this scenerio would play out. Borich is an awesome rider and competitor and I do wonder if his switch to Suzuki was a bad decision. Maybe it is just a matter of time for him to get all the new components working in his favor. All the best to Chris this year!
