Help....Engine guys!!

Ok heres my delima, My cam chain doesnt have enough slack to reach to the cam so I can bolt the gear to it. At first I thought it was snagged or something but I checked it out and its not. How do I fix this? I can get pictures if needed.

Are you sure it's seated fully on the bottom gear? This was always the culprit when mine wouldn't reach the cam.

stupid question but do you have the tensioner in?

One of the two above. Unless you did something else to the motor then it should fit.

What were you doing, changing the cam?

yeah you have to take the tensioner out.
