A little surprise for Codeman

He has been doing so good in school, and working his rear end off here for me, that I wanted to surprise him with something he has been wanting since the day he saw it, a 2008 KTM 85XC!


It's already paid for, and waiting for him at the dealership, so when he gets off the bus we are heading there to pick it up. He has no idea I bought it, he thinks we are making a quick trip to get service items before we leave for the GNCC race.

He will also be racing it during sundays GNCC! I will get a few pics when we get home with it

well, he now has an hour on it:p he was completly surprised and was pretty excited.

i was worried, i mean he has the 85 SX and ktm claimed many changes on this XC model, but i wondered if it would be enough of a change to actually help.

i am happy to say that the difference between the two models is night and day!

the suspension changes in the woods worked incredibly well. this section usually had the back end kicking around but now he can stay wfo

the power is way more usable in the woods, the big hill that always gives him issues is not a problem now

he has one, but is warming up to using it little by little.

Well he finished the race:p he competed in the 85cc 14-15 class, took 12th out of 14 but learned a ton! I will go into more detail in a few days, we are both pretty whooped
