Are they heavy? I've got a Trailbazer 250, and that stinking quad is so freaking heavy it's unbelievable.

Felt like utility-quad, muscling that thing around...

they are about 565 lbs so yes they are a tank. still a fun quad though.

It definately needs to be updated though, I really want polaris to come out with a new updated model. The thing hasnt really been changed in 10yrs.

Mine's nothing like rundrave's, but I do a little XC racing too. I converted mine to 2WD and swapped in all the 2WD front end parts to save weight.

I frequent gen3usa.com too, very helpful place.

Here in Michigan in District 14, to qualify for the Utility class you only have to have a fully-auto or semi-auto transmission (semi-auto would be like an auto-clutch 5-speed). Doesn't have to have racks, 4WD, none of that. My wife is going to inherit my Scrammy, and I'm very seriously considering doing a killer buildup on her 250 Trailblazer. Motor mods and pipe, clutching, Works struts and a Fox rear shock, Nerfs, wheels and tires, bars. Those Grizzly's and King Quads wouldn't stand a chance. :p
