HELP!!! 86 three wheeler

i have a kawasaki 185 3 wheeler, and i am having a heck of time figuring it out. When it turn the idle screw to get it to idle and than push the gas it starts revvingeven when i let go of the throttle it still revs when i turn it down a Centimeter it stalls. Also it skips and pudders alot when low idle. ANY IDEAS PLEASE???

yes carb is all clean ! i take it out a it seems to work fine

my first atv was an 86 klt185. i put alot of miles on that thing. sounds like a throttle cable/dirty carb issue. what do you mean by a centimeter at a time? the idle screw can't move the slide a centimeter.

sounds to me like a loose timing chain.

check the tensiner and make sure it is all the way out. If so then you will have to replace the timing chain.
