hotcam valve adjustment specs

i was wondering if anyone knew the proper valve adjustments for
the stage 1 hot cam. the spec sheet they sent me said .006 intake and .008 for the exhaust. but they just seemed very loose at that setting. does anyone know the proper specs. also i was reading on one of the forums about a special valve adjustment proceedure with the decompression valve removed. is this true and if so could someone please tell me what it is. thanks.

i am runnin my stage 2 at .oo5 and .oo6 versus stock at .004 intake and .005 exhaust. I spoke with tony about this and this set-up is fine. he works for hotcam. i would not go with the .006 or .008 unless all you did was constant high speed runs on the rev limiter, like tt or sumpin.
