Hey guys,
I have had my yfz for a while now, but had the shop change the oil when they looked it over for me when I bought it. Since then, I have rode it a few times and it is now time for an oil change.
-What brand of oil should I use? synsetic?
-What about that screen in the oil tank?
-Change the oil filter?
-Just pull the drain plug, then fill'er back up?

thanks, Joe

Right now I'm using amsoil 10-40 going to switch to the 20-50 for the summer.. Expensive but I heard it's good stuff. As for the oil change I would change the oil and filter at the same time, while your at it clean the air filter. As for the screen in the oil tank I'm not sure but I will probably check that on my next oil change..

ive changed my oil 1000 times... where is this screen you are speaking of?

also... you don't have to change the filter every time you change the oil...only ever 3-4 time... unless... you really want to.. but not necessary!
