What air filter should I get for my 400EX? I am thinking White Brothers or K&N but am not sure and would like some advise.

Thanks!

Filter choice comes with riding conditions...if you are up front all the time and it's not dusty, then go with a K n N, but if it's dusty and your in the back go with a foam filter. Either way I would go with a outerware in addition too. Also consider cleaning, some places you cannot use gas/kersosene to clean filters. Or other harmfull chemicals. Then you need to use the bio-degradeable types. Search around and see what others are riding with...good luck.

Yep check out No-Toil (http://www.notoil.com) Suppose to be really good Filters, and the Cleaner and Oil are safe, so you can clean the filter in your sink.

I went with UNI. I feel a little safer with foam. I've heard the outerwears sometimes don't protect as much as they say, but I don't know(not bashing k&n). I've also been told that by the time you put an outerwear over it, a UNI will suck in just as much anyways. I've had no problems yet, but like they said it ultimately depends on your riding conditions.
