Just in case anyone wants to see a dyno chart of a 250ex. This was sent to me from Michael@dynojet.

Very interesting, I take it thats the before/after adding an aftermarket filter and re-jetting?

This is not for mine. I just asked Dynojet for a stock vs. dynojet dyno and thats what they emailed me. I think there in Nevada.

good though but just go on honda. com and look at the specs for a 08'250ex and a 07 250ex then reply to this

On the honda website it says the curb weight for the 08 is 377 and the dry weight for the 07 is 360, so I am guessing the 08 is weighed with gas and oil in it.

Weight has nothing to do with the dyno since your not propelling the atv. Your spinning the dynamometer.

All the '08 model weights are given in curb weight now. That means all fluids in the bike ready to ride. It's a much more honest way of quoting weight anyway and I'm glad that they finally switched. Dry weights have been a source of unending consternation for years. 20 years ago it seemed like most of the manufacturers were pulling the dry weight number straight from there *** when someone actually put a bike on a scale.
