Im just hinkin out loud here. but can anyone explain too me how these are supposed too keep the motor cooler. how do they force more air to the motot either way the same amount of air is gettin their.
Does anyone have any proof of them actually helping.

Most people only use them for looks. It just directs a bit more air that flows in that direction more towards the cooler instead of it flowing right through and dodging it.

They are angle out in the front and direct more air flow to the oil cooler and cylinder cooling fins.

On this website, you'll get mixed feelings on scoops actual benifit. I believe any additional air flow to an air cooled motor can only help. I have an oil temperature dipstick and I saw a drop of 10 to 20 degrees.
