what pipe is louder

does anyone know what pipe is louder their is one pipe that is louder than a curtis sparks but i cant recall what it is all i can remember is it pushes like 130 db's does anyone know what it is i mean im not wanting to put that on their i just want to know

there isnt a pipe thats 130 dbs. the loudest you can get for a 450r i think would be a rossier, or a CT. you can run open header and it might be 130 dbs.

I've herd from a few places that TC's shorties and nmotions are 130dbs.
Don't know how true it is but its been said many times.

And going by my ear, TCs shorties are way louder then Rossiers.
Never herd a CT that I can remember.

A TC is pretty much a header with a tin can on the end. lol

Sorry there's no way any ATV pipe is 130 db's.

The loudest ones out there may hit 118dB's. 130db's is more than twice as loud as that.

Why do you want the loudest pipe? Wouldn't you rather have the most powerful pipe? Loudest doesn't meen its the most powerful. It just meens you won't be able to ride it at most places.

iv got a tc racing and a supertrapp pipe and mines loud as all get out...and mine hits a lil over 130 db...i know cuz i got a ticket the other day for it being so loud

I don't think you understand how loud 130DB's are.

In order for your atv to produce 130bB's vs 118dB's your atv would have to be producing a 400% greater pressure wave.

You'r ATV would be sustaining a sound level equal to the blast of a Locomotive horn at 30ft. Not a burst, but sustained level. 130dB's sustained for more than a second or two will cause severe pain and long term hearing loss (not short term).

I've heard CT Shorty (Supertrapps). They are not 130dB. They ARE obscenely loud, but they are not anywhere near the 130dB mark.

I made a pipe for mine and it's loud as hellllll. It's straigt and i found the perfect angle for peak wave curving. It sounds sooo mean too. Little cannie at times but when the throttle's open it's crazy. I put it on when i have the mean 26's on my 300ex and i've had people admit that they could hear it from the other side of the power lines and it just kept gettin louder and louder until i got there and they were scared ****less as to what it was. It's so mean with it and the tires. With the 26's it can't not pull a wheelie with the slightest throttle tap.

Yeah, they don't know you have to be 3 feet back. Here they test it practically in the hole. with mine there is no hole :P so too bad for themm!
