what setup do i want for desert riding
more in the front or less
more in the rear or less
trx450r
for regular riding around and also some hill drags

idk whats good for desert riding, but i do know
less teeth in front= more accel and bottom end, less top end.
more teeth in front= more top end, less bottom end
i THINK its vice versa for rear sprocket, not totally sure, do a search. i think i just read about your exact question on here like a day or two ago. maybe in the z400 section?

try giving an 13/37 ratio a try. you'll want more low end than upper end, unless you're slow:p

Definitely gear high for desert racing, you will need the top speed on the open sections or you will get blown away.
