Hey Bee I think mine had the same pipe as yours, I dunno they look simliar. I thought it had too much topend for me, not enough bottom end, so I sold it and got a PC and shortend the FMF silencer, sounds like no other. This is what my R looked like when I got it, its a shame I had to go and mess it up aint it....

I chopped it off simple:D Nah I drilled the rivets out of the endcap, then cut it about 3 inches shorter, then stuck the endcap in and drilled holes and re riveted. Sounds grreat, like I got a built motor or something, little bit louder than it was, but that could just be becuz I had it rebuilt at the same time. I agree with Jeff really, it dont matter about the silencer, it could be any brand, just get whichever sound you like, they all do about the same.
PC stands for Pro Circuit, its a great bottom mid pipe, alot more than b4.

I had the one with the curve, one of my friedds had the one without the curve and I hated mine. I liked the one without the curve better, it had way better low-mid. The one with the curve felt to me like you waited forever for it to come on the pipe. Simple rider preference I guess.
