360 on a quad????

hey everyone!... long time no chat! :) anyway, i was wondering if anyone has ever pulled a 360 on a quad.. rumor has it, that Dana did.. but i'm not sure.. so i come to the true ATv riders for the answer.. any help would be great! thanx!

maybe a 180... i doubt anyone would have the time or strength in the air to pull a 360..

dana kinda does it, I don't know i'd call it a real 360 but he basically does a 180 and spins the rest on one tire like a top.

at first i thought you meant in the air over a big jump, but yea, like the ones dana did in h4...i can do half of one, not a full 360 though

Yes a 360 has been done, well its more like a 285. Ask wired he was there. Dana did it off of the back side of a landing at the last d4 freestyle comp.

yeah it wouldnt be possible to hit a jump and do a 360, but you can do it off little stuff, they're actually a lot of fun unless you land sideways :eek:

I have a movie of a guy doing a 360 on a quad.... I can't remember where I got it, it was a link on one of our threads! I would upload it, but 56k would take forever! Sorry I dont know where the link is, try searching for it...:)

yea h4 they did it somewhat, but yea people have done it, im sure ive done a 180 off like a 1 ft jump or 2ft or suttin. But a 360 aint as hard as backlflip for sure

I gues in my opinion turn off the jumping somewhat but hit staright on mostly and hit ur theigh of ur leg against the quad while twisting ur bdoy and ducking low and leaning to the side ur spinning at and also turn the hndle bars to the side ur turing.. if that makes sense lol

no, they dont do it off a jump or anything, they hit a little hill or bump or something and spin there rear end around. its in H3 and H4 i think. i can do a 180, its really not that hard at all if you practice.

hey thanx for the reply.. i knew someone pulled the 360 but i wasn't sure.. thanx for the recomfirmation.. anyway, do anyone have a pic of it or know where i can find a link to the video.. i saw H4 and i didn't see it there.. i don't have H3 .. but some of you say taht its there... are you sure????

anyway, please.. i got this dirtbiker-anti-avts.. telling me taht a 360 has never been pulled on a quad.. please.. i want to show him that ATVer have it done.. please!

dude i know its on H4, its on the part where they mow the grass, he doesnt do a 360 but he does a 180

No one does a complete 360, on video atleast. They are easy on the ground, but not in the air. Harold goodman does a 180 on H3, with about 1 foot of air. Dana is doing this weird thing on H4, where he goes up a pile of dirt, then turns and spins off the side. What did he do in Bardstown?

dana just does a 180. in both videos, get your spins right. ive watched the films countless times and ive never seen dana go more than 180 in any of the films he is in.

im sure somone would do it, i would over a backflip

I bet a 360 will come sooner than a backflip seeing the consequences are near as bad and it is something you can just progress at.

it's hard to beleive that a quad can do a 360. i saw a guy almost land a 360 on a XR50. but he didn't land it. and for a quad to land it, well, i just think that would be EXTREMELY hard. then again, people are starting to do crazy stuff.

its probably possible if u hit a huge jump and use all ur stregth fast hey they said a flip on a dirt bike was INPOSSIBLE but ha its been done:D

Well in bardstown, dana was gettin a good run at the landing ramp like from the sides though were it was steep, an he was hittin it "faster" than i thought was needed, but he would land on his back wheels an prolly turn 30* (degrees) of an angle at most, an he would do a complete spin, an one time i think he pulled the whole damn 360, it was just about the coolest thing i saw there all weekend, *besides Wireds' tricks*.....

I think a back would be easyer on a quad that a 360. On h3 and 4 he basicly does a donout off a dirt pile. It looks pretrty cool but not what I would call an air trick.

I've done 360 on a pw50. Its pretty easy besides I'm way to big for the thing. I can even bonnyhoppy a 180n on the thing.
