i was riding my 400ex yesterday, it ran great. My question is, a few times after i shut it off i heard a pinging noise, like u hear when you shut some cars off, is this normal??

yes it is the metal going back to its original shape.

Everthing expandes when it is warmed up and contracts when you shut the engine off.

thanx guys, i guess i was gettin worried for nuttin, i thought it might be sumtin bad because i never rode in temperatures below freezing, and it was colddddddddd
