So Im just wondering what seems to be the preferred steering stem size. I know of course it will really depend on the rider but there must be a favorable size. I will not be running an atv bend handlebar but much shorter rise; Rentahl Fat bar (carmicheal bend) or the Flexx quadracer low....

You never said what atv. That makes a big difference when asking for a recommendation.

I have a holz +1 stem with cr high bend tag 1 1/8 bars and they feel really nice. On my practice 450r I have the stock stem with a riser that makes it compatible to a +1 stem with pro-taper atv bend bars.they feel the exact same and are pretty comfortable. I am 5'9

Thanks..Im 5'10 so were basicly the same size. I was about to purchase a +2 but wonder if that will be too much rise

Houser is a very good steering stem.Holz is def good, strong quality, lonestar is very good too. They are all the same and will stay strong as long as you dont flip your quad! And for a honda you just take off the main screw at the bottom of the stem underneath the quad, take the tierod ends off the mount on the steering stem tab in between the frame, then take the steering stem clamp off up by your hood and undo all the controls or just take your bars off the mount and follow the same steps to put it back on. Its simple.
