i made the same mistake with the ebay brake pads. i bought a set of ebc(i think) pads from my local moto shop and they were 30 bucks. the guy said they are recommended for muddy wet riding. i thought 30 was a bit much for one set but they have held up really well

i think i spent like 20 bucks for my rear pads, and their is only 2 pads as opposed to 4, so i'd say thats a pretty good deal.

EBC are cheap junk. you want good brakes get DP pads. i promise you will not be disappointed in them. best on the market you will not be sorry. get sintered if you wanna flip over forward when you hit the brakes

dp pads may b better but i think saying ebc pads are cheap junk is a bit harsh. if you want cheap junk get the $12 pads off ebay

I have EBC sintered pads and they are great. They last really long and they stop better than OEM. Worth the money.

are the sintered tusk pads from rockymountain any good?

I would stay away from tusk brake pads, EBC is a lower budget brake pad that is great for the money. But as someone else said the DP's are worth the extra buck. They really dont wear down fast at all and last a good year all around :)

I guess I shouldn't have said it like that considering they aren't exactly cheap as in the cost. Compared to the DP Pads they are about 15 bucks cheaper.

Oh, yeah a shop tried to get me to buy the DP Pads and when I asked the price I walked away. To buy all 3 sets for each brake rotor would ost you an arm and a leg! I went with EBC, cheaper, still good, last long, great braking.

hahaha ok ok maybe i shouldnt of said EBC are junk.. i guess crap is a better word haha. if you wanna race at all dont waste your time with EBC. they fade off bad and wear right though in no time. DP pads will stop you so hard you'll go steril. You can get them from any parts unlimited dealer. i got all 3 sets for my wheeler for $60. but i get dealer cost :D
