turbo 450r?

could anybody possibly point me in a direction on boosting a 450r?. such as what turbo i should go with and possibly somekind of schematics? im not even sure if the motor would handle it. its an 05 trx 450r. its got a 500 big bore kit. stage 2 hc. 3mm hots rods stroker crank 12.5 to 1 comp wiseco piston. and ported and polished head. intake full fmf exhaust aswell. any help would be greately appreciated.

lol. and to answer that question. no dunes for me. i wish there were some around here. i just wanted to build something that would blow them banshee boys away. thats what all they ride. and i cant stand em. lol

by the way what did it run you to do this?. did you just buy all the supplies from them and fab it yourself or did they because i can fab it. i just need to know exactly what to buy.

your gunna need a lower comp piston to use a turbo

yeah im not worried about the lower comp piston. i just wanted to know what this project might cost.lol. although im dead serious about it. p.s. banshees are sometimes cool. but like honda says "stupid hurts. ride red."

if you are goin to turbo it you will definitly have to drop comp most turbo motors are under 10.1, if you want it to be reliable i suggest going bk to a stock bore, alot of my friends have 480 and larger big bores on a trx and they dont last long at all. it will prob take more than a turbo to beat a banshee ive got both and my 98 banshee destroys my built 450r and my friends 480 w a 15 shot of nos,. you will have a hard time with a turbo on an atv unless you never ride in dirt.

yeah im actually going back to stock bore stock comp this weekend. i do ride in some dirt but not much i do more street drag racing and running from the cops where i live. lol

i think it was like 4 grand for them to get that turbo kit.

compression ratio you should run also depends on what PSI you plan to run , what gas you plan to run what elevation ect.

but my oh my that thing would rock. I looked into it when a company called turbo tech was suposed to start making kits I saw a few prototypes and kept calling to make sure I was on the list to get one and never did that was when I had my 400ex
but afraid the weight on the header would not work.
