Eh I was pissed off the day I did it so it kinda made everything hard. I like the hood but if I were to do it again I wouldn't cut the fenders into 2, instead bolt the hood on and cut out the front center peice that overhangs.

Well you certainly can't have mine and I don't think my GF would be very happy with me if I just up and gave away her quad. Asl 4punks if you can be the 5th, he's got a quad family.....

Nice Pics. I am alos thinking about getting a Maier Hood. Are they Hard to install?

What cutting is needed in order to install.

When you bought that hood section , did it coem with instructions on how to install it??

The hoods come with 4 bolts, 4 clips, a number plate, and the hood. It is fairly simple but it does take some time. First you need to find where you want to put it then cut off the headlight section and rewire things. Then I would suggest bolting on the hood and just cutting the over-hang in the front and your done. I still am waiting for K&K to send me my tank cover:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: I like the way it came out.

No, it doesn't come with instructions but if anyone needs help installing one just get ahold of me and I'll walk you through it.
