I'm looking into buying a Helmet Cam, but I'm not sure if its worth the money. I would like some video of me riding/racing, but usually there is no one that wants to stand around and watch me ride, we are all just riding!

Does anybody have either a Helmet Cam or a cam mounted on their quad? If so, what do you think about them?

Thanks.

My buddy just bought one not too long ago....Its just a cheaper one. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the picture. It was mounted on the top of his helmet though, and took a TON of time to get it adjusted. The pack that comes with it, he kept in his camelback.

ive heard good things about the atk2000 (made my oregan 'something' not sure on the full name)
its about 40-60 bucks with a 2 GB memory carb, the good thing about it, you dont need a camera to plug it into, its all inside the little case.

i'll be giving one of these a try once i find on in stores.
they are always up on ebay.

This is the one I was looking at because it includes the mini - DVD player so I figured I could just throw that in a fanny pack or my Camelback water deal....but I like the idea of one that automatically stores the file without the DVD player.

Do you know if you just download it to your computer via a USB port, or do you download it later to a DVD Player? Eventually I would like to get the videos somehow to my computer.

heres the one i was talkin bout, its actually $100-$130 i was off a few $$$.
it uses a SD 2 gb memory card so it can be transfered to your computer
it comes with a USB cable, also cables to hook up to tv.
the thing this doesnt have is sound, but sound on a helmet camera doesnt usually sound good, because of all the wind noise mixed with the exhaust noise.
