Hey everybody, I am in the process of doing a "tune-up" on my quad and I have it down to the frame right now. (I'll probably make another post on that)

I have Lonestar DC-4 Long Travel a-arms and I know I've seen around here before that you have to cut out a piece of the tab in order to get a grease zerk to fit in there without hitting the frame. I did a search and couldn't find any pics.
If someone could post pics of what they did I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Okay, nevermind. I found the post I wanted doing a different search.

Now my question is, do I need to grind out the tabs or can I just leave them.
Grease them and put in a set screw?
Or should I grind them out and put a zerk in?

We ground mine out... Very simple to do....

i had the same problem, i took the grease fitting out, took it to the hardware store, bought a small set screw and put that in, no problems so far

thats what i did too. Greased it, took out fitting and put in a bolt. So whenever i need to grease i just take the bolt out and put the fittings back in.

I think I'm just gonna go with putting a set screw in. Sounds like a plan.
Thanks guys!
