My 3 year old cousin has a suped up power wheels lol when he turns 4 we are buying a him a little 50cc lol

Josh,start 'em young.Austin started riding a real quad at 5 but demolished a couple power wheels before that lol.As a dad you will be able to tell when your kid is ready to start riding.

thanks jason, im hopeing to start him on a 50cc at 2? i dont know man. does that sound to young? kevs starting tori this year i cant wait man shes gona be cute as hell, tori seems to just want to tear it up:p watch out austin:D

Josh,I'd say you are going to have to make that call when the time comes.Some kids are ready sooner than others.

I started my son on a 12V Powerwheel at 2yo. I then later modified it w/ 24V, tweaked gearboxes and bigger/faster motors. He used to rip it up! I got him his first "real" quad when he was 5yo. I got him a Chinese knock-off 110cc. I just recently bought him (last week) an '07 90EX.

I have three boys...now 17, 15, 13. They started riding around 4 or 5 on a Z50, then got them a XR80 so that they could learn to ride a clutch, then KX65, YZ85 and now wheelers.

Here's a pic of Zach's nephew, Nicolas. His parents bought him this 50 when he was just one and a half years old. He loves riding it in the backyard, although it took him awhile to master breaking. hahahahaha!

This is my neice, Abby and the quad I bought her for her 1st birthday!! She's a little daredevil on this battery powered quad and is already doing all sorts of tricks on it. She likes to ride it while she is standing up on the seat. LOL!

I love that they already enjoy riding at such a young age! I can't wait until they get a little older and can race me around the tracks!!

i started riding a trx90 at three but i was only allowed to stay in first gear in the yard. but at four i was allowed to ride in the cow pasture by myself, as fast as i want but my little brother, he is nine years old and cant ride by himself. my point is it just depends on the kid.
