which one would win if they were both stock. And if the 250r would be a 330 which would win if they both had a little done to it

Stock for stock Banshee wins, equal modding 250R usually wins.

I took a Toomey pipe'd, reeds, other junk Banshee out with my stock cylinder, and of course like they all do he cried traction so well roll started and I still beat him. Then I sat at the line and he rolled up to me and I did a standing start and it was almost a tie but I still beat him.

Stock R's are pretty slow. Stock Banshees are pretty quick.

Banshees don't respond quite as well to mods as an R, but Banshees have a lot more potential when it comes it modding. There is more crazy stuff available.

One thing that nomatter what you do you can't fix is, the Banshee handles about like a bathtub with some ****ty shocks. It's seriously a problem, you have to spend a couple grand on suspension before I would ride one.

R's handle real nice out of the box.

I don't disagree with you much Wilkin, and you know I'm a R lover too, but while they don't handle anything like an R, there not THAT bad.

A little story. We had a pre-season outlaw harescramble, and the 250R's and 450R's were still packed away for the winter, so this is what I broke out to ride. :D

I had ridden this quad all of about ten hours since I bought it two years ago, and all of that time was dune riding. I was fifth on the holeshot and by the end of the second lap, I was leading. I held it for three laps, until I got stuck on an icey uphill and fell to third, where I finished. With some suspension upgrades and a steering stabilizer, I could race this thing on a regular basis. :huh

Nice pics, I'll give you credit for racing a stock banshee.

Equal mods? In anything but Drag racing, i'll take a 250R.
