Kelsey took 1st place today in the C class on her Hybrid today.

Its a Good start for leading up to a Womens class next season, especailly when your doing it on a mini Hybrid.
Getting tired of waiting for local mini riders to show up,so she raced the 450's instead!hehe!
NICE JOB GIRL :blah:

Wish it had a quad top though. LOL

We threw my boy out there too. I think he felt pretty cool hangin out with the big dawgs.... :D
Typically MX is where he shines-Desert and XC for Kelsey.
He usually gives her a good chase and leads some of the races, but not today!

Yeah, no doubt that it's not strapped....

That's very bad....should never, ever, ever forget that.

I dont think shes done that before, but I guarentee it will be the last!

this is just a thought.....
could it just be the left over strap hanging down? the way it looks, it is on the right side. most helmets strap on that side. if it wasnt strapped, shouldnt it be hanging on the left if it wasnt strapped? now yes, it does look a little long to be just the left over, but some helmets vary with that.

looks like it was only passed through the two loops once, and not through the second one again

I think thats what it is. I looked threw a ton of her photos and it looks like the strap is really long and hangs ...but it hangs alot more because its not all the way strapped. Who knows. maybe its not strapped, either way its gonna get addressed.lol
WHEW... just glad she had a good race and no wrecks

i don't think it is strapped at all...all the helmets i have had have the loops on the left side...and if you look in the last pic, the short strap is also hanging from that side...not the right side like the pic in question

i was just thinking about what i posted, and your right. most helmets do strap on the left, not the right. i have had a helmet thta was opposite, and i was too busy watchin the race. lol, sorry for the confusion.

I've never thought about that....that's gotta suck.

I would think she would have to wear loose gloves, to give room for her nails. AND loose gloves will cause blister/hand problems, because they will roll up in your palms if they are loose enough.

Is she still having blister problems?....Maybe something to look into if she's still having issues.

She gets some, but nothing out of the norm.
I personally find myself to blister less with a loser glove and I have better circulation as well than tighter ones . She had blisters at Havasu, but who didnt?! :scary:
LOL!
There getting better, I think she likes her ODI's and her gloves she likes alot, shes just needed to form a few calusus.(sp?)

Troys the same way. If Troy had it his way, he would race without gloves . He HATES them and sometimes ditches them on races that they are not really needed.

Brandon on the other hand has never had a blister and it doesnt matter what grips or gloves he wears.
Its weird how it affects us all.:p

Hey Tina,
I talked to Kelsey last week about keeping up with everything and also the strength training stuff. Fantastic finish. I think it's going to come around for her this year. She's a great girl.

She told me she needs to be riding her bike .
Her bike is in bad shape its sat for a loooong time ...:o
We will have to work on that one .lol
Right now I think another best thing for her is to get off the mini and on a real full sized quad. Her biggest set back now is having not only less power than some of the others, but lacking suspention and handling ,not to say that the Elkas are not-they are AWESOME! Its due to the ergonomics the full sized quads.
Its a great quad, but time to move up at the end of year.

Christian, I bet your excited to not have to drive far to this next race, Eh?!!
Your so lucky!
Brandons next when the funds are there. lol :scary:
