hey when i was looking at my head the other day, it has a allen bolt right beside the spark plug hole. does anyone know what this bolt does.

hey if your talking bout the allen that bolts onto the side of the cam.. its called your de-compression set up ..

no, its the one right beside the spark plug hole, its a 10mm bolt, idk what its for.

The allen bolt he's talking abut is under the valve cover, on the actual head.

I've wondered the same my self, even looked in the service manual and it doesn't say anything about it.

I dont know what its for either. Maybe its not even a bolt and just there for looks?!? Or maybe its a figment of our imagination. Non the less not to be rude but those guesses are better than saying its for taking your valve cover off figuring the valve cover is already off.
