Does anyone know if they make many aftermarket parts for the ford contour? if so by who and what website, also are these cars even worth souping up at all??:confused:

If it has the v-6 you could soup it up I suppose. The engines a fairly zippy for the year/size. My wife drives one, and it is mostly just a money pit. Pretty cheaply made automobile if you ask me, might be better to go with something better built.

I had a friend that has one. It's the v-6 contour sport. It's faster than a prelude type-SH

A contour sport is not going to be faster than a prelude SH. Your comparing a 170hp engine to a 200hp engine. The contour SVT with it's 200hp engine is more comparable to the prelude SH but driven properly, the prelude should smoke a regular contour SVT and will most likely pull away from a contour SVT.

:huh My old Talon could hang with the prelude but got beat by the contour:confused:
