I just bought a Durablue 2+2 axle and sprocket hub and a new Lonestar axle carrier. Anyway, I got ready to put the clip in to hold the hub in place and decided to throw it in the carrier first to check the fit out.
The hub does not make a very good seal and it appears as if it is going to rub the adjusting area on the carrier. Anyone have any advice or pictures of their setup? I don't understand this problem.......

sounds like you might have the wrong barrings

The carrier is a brand new Lonestar carrier. I think I have it ruled out as not being the problem.

Sounds like the sprcket hub is too far too the right possibly.Like it isnt seated against the retaining clip. You may try putting it all together and tightening the nut on the brake hub side and see if it lines itself up then.

It could also be that the lonestar carrier is built for the lonestar axle and not the durablue?

The carriers and axles are all made to work with other stock or aftermarket components.Did you ever make the stuff fit together?

After spending a ton of time on the phone with Durablue, I wound up discovering that the hub on the axle was not the right hub. I ended up getting a Lonestar Axle in a deal with the a-arms so if anyone wants a durablue +4 hd axle that looks unused minus the sprocket hub, look on the for sale section or pm me.

Again, this is a +4 durablue hd axle, NONadjustable, pics are in the for sale section.

so will a lonestar sprocket hub work on the durablue? Or only a durablue sprocket hub?

It's a 24 count spline for the sprocket hub. This is standard count on all 250R axles. I do not have a sprocket hub here to test it but I don't see there being any complications. If you want, you can send me the overall width of the hub's spline area and I can check and see if it should fit. I am not positive but I would imagine it should....
