What Fuel Do You Guys Use?

i was wondering what type of fuel you guys are running in your bikes cause i think im gonna use u4 or u4.2 and was wondering if anybody else is running it casue i was told that i would need to drain my tank and carb everyday when i get done riding and wanting to know if anybody uses it and is there a certain way that it needs to be drained and flush through the carb and tank.

92 octane pump gas,,,, i dont see why you would need to drain everything

I run 92 or 93 depending on the station

I use 93 octane unless I can find a Sunoco then I use their 94.

you gotta drain the carb cause u4 is oxegenated, leave it sit in the carb it will oxidize. and to drain the carb just turn your gas off and take the drain bolt off the bottom of the carb.

ok but you dont have to drain the tank cause wont it gel up?? and do i have to run reg gas through the carb to get it all out

im not sure if you have to drain the tank with u4 i ran oxengenated but it was a different kind and all i had to do was drain the carb never had a problem not draining the tank.

I run the U4 in some of my race quads. Like posted make sure you drain your carb and lines out after running it. As fr draining the whole tank, eh, im sure yoll here different answers. But its not good to leave in there for long, it will gunk things up pretty bad. Also MAKE SURE you are jetted correctly.

thanks man... i'm gonna run it in my race bike and i was just wanting to make sure what i need to do to run it and not mess up my carb

I run a mix of 4 gallons 110 octane to 1 gallon of 94 octane.

I never have any kind of problem with gumming anything up.

I hate having to buy it though....$40 for 5 gallons of fxcking fuel.

the best race gas around here is torco 110. thats what i will be running when i have a hc piston

well, i saw that you have a hybrid and 450r, if they are running over 12.5:1 compression you will need a race fuel. if your not over that, your just wasting your time, its like 6 dollars more for u4 than pump fuel. but if your about 12.5:1 you should be running a race fuel. idk about mixxing gas, there is lots of mixed thoughts of this, i am unsure whats fine and not, but lots do it without a problem,

My buddy runs klotz 113 in his 450..Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Klotz fuel's ??

but you guys that use U4 and drain your carb do you run reg pump gas or race fuel through the motor for a little while to get all of the U4 out of your tank and carb?

I don't like the oxygenated fuel. Whenever you get behind somebody that runs it, you have to back off or hurry up and pass them. I run 110 Sonoco and 93 V-Power mixed 50/50.

x2 i run it in my quad and usally get for 5.85 but think its 6.15 or 25 now good gas
