i know it's not a mini, but i figured someone here might be able to help. i have a yukon 150. i bought it not running, and now have it able to start up and idle...the problem is, when i hit the gas, it wants to die out. it has a uni filter clamped on the carb right now. when i take it off and push up on the slide and then stab the throttle, it will rev but not very smoothly.

i really don't have experience with this kind of carb. any ideas on what i should be trying? i cleaned the carb, and the slide moves freely when i take the spring off on the top side of the carb. it's sluggish with the spring in.

how does this carb work with the slide and butterfly flap? the slide doesn't want to lift up without me pushing up on it.

If you go to "google" and search for " how a carbeurator works" you will find a complete breakdown of a carb and exactly how it works, it has helped me dial in my quad so the throttle response is very quick and smooth throughout the entire rpm range.

Best of luck,
