What brand helmet and chest protector do you guys recommend?

I have an HJC helmet. The liner is removalbe so when it get funky you can throw it in the wash Machine. Chest Protector I have a Thor Scattershield, it is light weight but still has good protection.

Also I have a Thor Aftershock (black) and a Fox Roost 2 (back) for sale. If you might be interested let me know.

I have a Acerbis and I don't have a problem with it. It feels a lil awkward but I don't like to where chest pretectors so to me they all feel weird.

the best thing i can tell u is go to a dealership and try on chestprotects and buy the best fitting one... i have a fox roost 2 and i love it...

i have a thor svs helmet, it was sweet. but its all chipped so i may get a new one for racing season, any suggestions?
how do the thor chestprotectors feel?

I have the fox racing james stewert replica helmet and some fox chest protecter. Thats not what I wanted to say though, if you get new gear get it from bobcycle.com, they saved me about 50 bucks on a helmet and last time I checked it was so much cheaper it wasn't funny. They have GREAT prices.

almost any helmet is good but ive had really bad luck with all my fox's and so have my friends..i came down on a jump slammed my head on my handlebars n the helmet cracked..and my friend hit a jump flipped, and the same thing happend...i don tlike my hjc very much i would say thor svr2's i love my new one its awesome

i broke my biaffe helmet and broke the face part of my answer helmet... I think all helmets will break.

I'm thinking baouthis one because my chest protector I bought is red & yellow so it will sorta match.
