440 kit = more matnince?????

I thought about a 440 kit for my 400EX. I was wondering for some of you big bore guys out there, does the quad overall require more than general matnince after the big bore kit? More then just the average oil\filter change, air filter cleaned, stuff like that. If it does require more deatiled matnince what kind? My frined said something about constantly checking valve clerance? Any help would be great, Thanks

no not really it seems to be the same type of maintenance to me

i had to adjust my valves once since march.you just have to change the oil a little more frequently.

You should check your valves and ajust them as needed with or with out a modified engine.
