clutch ??

riding today and I felt a grinding vibration with a noise to it. Im thinking it is the clutch just wondering what price im looking at to fix it and if you think thats the problem

i guess i didn't explain it well it was coming from around the motor and it wasn't constant so i know it wasn't the carrier baring i was riding on a track and it seemed to happen when i was in to high of a gear

sounds like the clutch may be worn out.

your tranny might be shot.

happened to me about 3 times, cost my dad bout $1000 to fix it.:grr:

try your clutch first!

I was getting something similar along time ago (400ex days) It was my cam chain rubbing on the cylinder.
I replaces cam chain and one guide, that fixed my problem..
