Installed new rear brakes and now my caliper is sticking. I took off the pedal and looked at the linkage. Everything is good. It still done it when the pedal wasn't even connected. The rear brakes work, and will even lock up the back wheels but it doesn't back off all of the way. It is still holding some pressure. Any ideas????

if your parking brake is still intact on the caliper you proly need to back it off for the thicker pads. it will adjust as the pads wear down

I've already installed a block off plate and trimmed the rod to allow for the block off plate. Is there anything to lubricate?

Is your caliper sliding back and forth on the pivots? sometimes they have a tendancy to stick.. causing premature wear.

It is pivoting. The piston is not going back into the caliper, therefore still pushing the pads a little. Could I take it apart and lubricate anything?

you might want to release the pressure when you try to push it back in by loosening the lid or bleeder..
