Well i was looking through some old pics today of one of my trips to st croix(virgin islands) and i stumbled across this one. While walking around the property i took some pics of these footprints. I have no idea what in the world they could be from. I didnt think to put anything else in the pic to scale it, but the length was about the same as my shoe size(11). Anyone have any ideas?????

Thank you
justin

I would say bigfoot, but since you were in the virgin islands I'm gonna go with chupacobra

Probably a coyote, but hard to tell from the pic.

I find it hard to believe that, that is the size of a size 11 shoe...

Well, i wear a size 11 shoe, put it next to it, and it was about the same length. I had to downsize the pic bigtime to make it fit on here, so that might make it look smaller. But i have no reason to lie if thats what your hinting towards. Just curious of what in the world it could be. Im thinking maybe some type of big iguana or something maybe?

Heres another pic i found i took. Two prints close to each other but one of them was a good bit smaller than the other. Kinda wierd. Again im not pulling anyones leg here, just stumbled across the pics today and figured id post to see if anyone knew what it was?

Thank you

nahh.. i wasn't trying to be rude, just sayin that it looks like a dog or coyote footprint, if it was the size of one.
... but iguana prints look more like a human hand

Looks like a K-9 track to me... there are some really large dog breeds out there that could possibly have feet that large. Could be a wolf even...

Someone mentioned a large cat but almost all cats have retractable claws and you can clearly make out claw marks in the pic.

It definitely doesn't look like a lizard track IMO.

Mutant native maybe? :scary:
Jersey devil on vacation?

well looking at these new pics... it kinda looks like it has webbed feet.... so possibly could be some sort of large lizard

Thats what i was thinking. an iguana or something lizard wise. I remember some locals saying they had seen some big lizards around, but i was thinking like something you see in the pet store, not something with a foot about as big as mine lol.

It's definatly canine. 5 pads, 4 claws. An animal w/ a dewclaw.
Also can draw an X through the void between the main pad and first toes to the void between the 1st and second toes.

Large cat tracks rarely show any claws. And all of those tracks have claw marks.
