alright im tired of fooling around with my 250x. I want to sell it for a down payment on a 400ex.
its a 1992 250x douglas red label wheels, new protrak front tires, slightly used dunlops rear, durablue axel, lonestar bearing carrier, T&T parking brake block off, aluminum swingarm, motor bored .30 mm, stage 1 hotcam, 300 ex head and cover(eliminates compression relief), hinson clutch, new timing chain and guides, white brother E series muffler, plastics are not the originals but they are factory 250x plastics that are s alittle scratched and have a few stiches, some kind of flaming ceet cover, DG front bumper, renthal aluminum handlebars, no headlight or brakelight, stick carb that needs a cleaning and possibly another jet.
The only problem with the bike is the carb. when it starts it sputters out about half throttle and shoots mist of gas out the back, im tired or sinking money into the bike and i want something bigger. the bike pulls very hard untill it sputters. it doesn't kill it but its very annoying when riding half throttle. also have an extra set or A-arms nothings wrong with the ones already on it but i got them for a steal on e-bay. And have to 250x head and cover if you want the compression relief back. Asking price is $1200 obo.
