Vid of the 2008 400ex..

This is pretty much the first look I've had at the new design and the "bold" new graphics.

All I can say is it doesn't have the "dated" look of the 450r :rolleyes: .. and that it's ugly.

Heh it's all in preference I suppose. I kind of like it... that light is hidious though. With mods... I would love to see an 08 MX Ready 400EX

well i think its still better than the last model, i do think that the R look is cool but thats just it, that looks belongs to the R not ex, my favorite look is the original "duck" looking, when i hear anything 400ex related that image pops in my head, honda shoulda just made color changes on that plastic and mabey put easy removable flares on it or something and have it come stock with fatbars or brand name tires...that woulda been cool

take it easy:( deep down inside its still a 400ex. I happen to like my 05' only year of yellow 450r style and last year so far.. but yea I'd say they took a step in the wrong direction with the look-a-likes, well the older 250ex's were designed to look like the older 400ex's..

true that. the orginal look with the boob headlights looks ten times better then any of the newer models IMO. they're makin to many atvs with the same basic looks. like all of yamahas stuff looks like raptors. and then they tried makin the 400ex look like the 450R, etc....i think its stupid and each quad should have its own unique look.

i like the new 400 except for the head light.... i still like the older ones more though
