The only thing done to this quad is wheel tires, nerfs and kill tether. When i picked it up it ran fine. Now it has no spark. the kill tether was installed by the shop i bought this from new. I unhooked the kill tether and still no spark. I have been over every conection and nothing. This quad has only seen my driveway no water or mud. I don't know how to test the stator. Now we have a race this weekend and no quad.

Are you compressing brake lever when you are trying to to start it?

Has it started since the tether was installed?

do you have the cdi with the rev limiter,i have seen several of these go bad.....you can also unplug the black wire with white stripe from cdi and ground it,this will override all of the factory switches...

I will jump on the tether bandwagon.

you need to remember that an aftermarket tether will not work on the DRR stock tether wiring. it will not run when hooked up and will when pulled. try pulling the tether and see if you have spark. We wire ours strait from a frame ground to the hot side of the coil. that would be my best guess.

Yes It did start before, and still had no spark when the tether removed.

yes brake lever is being pulled all the way in. I have even tried to kickstart it. Still no spark.

Make sure you reconnect the wires from the old tether back together or it will have no spark!!!!! They have to be connected, this is why the aftermarket tethers wont work on them.

Good to hear. Taking care of the flooding part is much easier.:D
