unless you know of a builder local to you that is really good with 250R cranks i'd suggest going with ESR's pro-X crank or get Crank Works to build one.

Best bet is OEM crank halves. Get the crank welded and trued whatever route you go.

Almost all of the other brands are fine as long as you have a knowledgable builder perform the work and can save you a chunk of change.

C-Leigh seems very knowledgeable and he uses Hot Rods cracks or OEM from what i remember him telling me.

He's built many 250R motors, so if it were me i'd go with his recommendation.
