i finally got a replacement 250W stator for my 400ex since the previous one did not work

well this one works, it has a possible 200 extra watts for lights to run, but i need to run a voltage regulator other wise the bulb blows when it hits 2000 RPM.

i have a regulator but the only install info is hook the yellow wire to power supply (coming off the stator) and the brown to ground.
this leaves no wire for the added lights.

how do i hook the lights to this thing?
heres the regualtor i bought

thanks

well i guess no one here knows.
but i figured it out with help from my dad.
had to hook a 'Y' connector to the yellow wire, and the regulator sucks up the extra voltage.

this stator works great. although since it powers the lights with A/C, the extra lights dim way down when off the gas.

i took of a pic with the lights on. i could still add another 100W onto the bike, thats 270W on a 400ex :eek2:

Baja 1000???

it was only idling there. when it gets up to 2000 RPM that bumper light gets bright, its a 100W bulb
