How hard would it be to do this?

Me and one of my buddies have been talking about building a track and stuff and i was just wondering what kind of steps need to be taken in order to have races and stuff out there. It would be a lot of work, and i would have to get the ok from a lot of people but i know there is a lot to it and just wanna know how much really has to be done. There just isnt enough tracks around here for quads so i'd like to build one around this area if we could. So yeah what do you guys think?

I would think the biggest issue would be figuring out the insurance.

Insurance, noise restrictions, distance away from residential areas, etc. I'd suggest finding out who you'd need to talk to to get more information on doing something like this. It'd be someone in your local town, business planning or something?

Yeah i knew insurance would be a main issue. i dont know how long it would take for racers to recognize our track also.
