250ex or z250?

What do you guys think is gonna better? My sis is gonna be getting a 250ex foor christmas because she dosnt wanna wait any longer and she wants it to be red......... maybe you guys could giver her some reasons y to wait 4 it or y not to wait for it.

If she gets the quad soon she might not like it.Also another bike might come out that she will like and then she won't want the 250.

i have a 250ex and love it. i do know how to use a clutch,so i got the ex so i don't have to goof with it. and i like the shaft drive(no chain to adjust). i do mosty trail riding and some hill climbs. being a first time Quad rider is why i picked a 250ex. i'll get a bigger one someday. but for now i'm having fun with this one.

thats what i tried to tell her but i dont think she care too much about that because she dosnt expect to get anything else later..

honda2003- z250 also is shaft driven with no clutch.. it also has more ccs do i assume it would be faster

it may be but if it is not that much faster.

Sportraxboy10 i don't know too much about quads. i'm all new to them. the Z250 may also be a good quad. i had the choice of getting a new 2003 250ex or a 2003 Yamaha Blaster(200, 2 stroke). i just didn't like the idea of oil injection so i got the honda.

cool honda2003... how are u likin the ex? blasters are awsome machines ( i used to have one) and the oil injector dosnt cause to many problems........ but i must say they arnt nearly as reliable as a 250ex.... y didnt u get a 300ex?

i didn't get the 300ex because i didn't have the money for it. i've had it for 1 month now. i've got it stuck in the mud over its wheels 3 times. had to be pulled out 2 of those times:D . i'll have me a 400ex someday i just didn't want to get into anything too big for my first quad. its been 15 years since i've rode anykind of motorcycle.

01 250ex --- how do you like the T-4? is it very loud? the places where i ride at, you must have quiet exhaust.

I like my t4 but i wish i would have got the header with it. It is loud but not really loud.

Well since the Z is a first year quad i Say go with the Honda. And plus IMO Honda is the only way to ride. They make great quads. Ya can't bust 'em(Isn't that Buddy Lee)
